TONY’S BOOKS

The novels and short stories of Tony Kent take place within the ‘Killer Intent universe’ and feature a recurring roster of fan-favourite characters. Whilst not every character appears in every book, the lead protagonists of the series are:

Joe Dempsey: A British intelligence operative working for the United Nations International Security Bureau. A former assassin for the British government, Dempsey now uses his skills to make up for the bad things he has done - to cancel out the ‘red in his ledger’ - with a roving international brief that takes him and his team to the wherever they are most needed; a James Bond for the 21st century.

Michael Devlin QC: A London-based, Belfast-born criminal barrister with a dark past. A product of the last days of the Troubles in Northern Ireland and the son of Belfast’s most notorious gangster, Michael left his violent childhood behind to make a new life for himself in London. A life which is sometimes just as dangerous as the streets of his youth and where the ‘skills’ he picked up as a boy can be the difference between life and death…

Sarah Truman: A London-based, Boston-born television journalist, Sarah ran away from a life as privileged as Michael’s was violent. Determined to succeed in her career far away from her family’s influence, Sarah’s habit of forcing her way too deep into her own stories is what first brought her into contact with Michael and, together, they navigate the dangerous waters in which they frequently find themselves.

Eden Grace: A former member of The US Secret Service’s Presidential Protective Division, Eden Grace is the newest recruit to Dempsey’s International Security Bureau and his closest friend on the team. Practical, pragmatic and capable of lethal action when required, Grace is perfectly suited to her new career and the ideal foil for the more intense Dempsey.
